The CLA Process for a Bolex camera begins with a full dismantling of the camera. Once the internal drive mechanism is removed it under goes a chemical wash that breaks down grease that has hardened over the years. After the process the camera is lubricated with a high grade gear oil. This oil is specially designed to spread and not collect dust. While the internal mechanism is curing, the outer shell is cleaned and detailed along with all the other levers and knobs. Finally the reassemble process begins.
